Related organizations

SIOP Europe. The European academic organisation for paediatric oncology developing clinical research through paediatric tumour committees, along with educational programs. This collaboration is essential in order to further develop drugs beyond phase I and II and to appropriately address and conduct coordinated Paediatric Investigation Plans (PIP) that will cover unmet medical needs. Most of ITCC members are SIOP-Europe members. http://www.siop.nl/

KIKA. ITCC Biology is being financially supported by one of the main Dutch Charity Foundations in the field of Paediatric Oncology, the KIKA foundation ("Children Free of Cancer"). KIKA will most likely also endorse the clinical activities of ITCC in the near future http://www.kika.nl/

CR-UK. ITCC is also establishing a collaboration with CRUK , with whom the UK representatives of ITCC already have a research link through Childhood Cancer and Leukemia Group (CCLG). http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/

European Medicines Evaluation Agency. Members of the ITCC Board participated in the writing of the “Addendum on Paediatric Oncology” (CPMP/EWP/569/02) and of the Note for Guidance on Evaluation of Anticancer Medicinal Products in Man (CPMP/EWP/205/95). Members of the ITCC Board are experts at EMEA: Prof G Vassal in the Scientific Advisory Group on Oncology , Dr B Morland in the Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products (COMP). http://www.emea.eu.int/
